Released for the first time in paperback format, this is the expanded second edition of Two Paths, One War.

Two Paths, One War is a tribute to the author's Polish parents, two remarkable individuals whose lives were shaped by the trauma and service of World War Two. Though their journeys were vastly different, they each endured immense hardship, contributed to the Allied war effort, and ultimately found one another in post-war England.

His mother was one of the hundreds of thousands deported to Soviet labour camps in 1940, surviving brutal conditions, starvation, and a perilous journey through Iran, Palestine, and Africa, including a torpedo attack at sea, before arriving in England and joining the WAAF. His father escaped Poland at the war's outbreak, trained as a bomber pilot, and flew dangerous missions with the Polish Air Force and Special Duties squadrons, supporting resistance movements across Europe.

Their story is a deeply personal one, but it echoes the sacrifice of so many who fought, fled, endured, and survived. This book stands as a heartfelt commemoration of their resilience and a reminder of the courage shown by those who fight for freedom, then and now.
